What I have found through years and years in the home based business industry is that most people make it way more complicated than it actually is. When you make the business sound complicated people don’t understand it and therefore they don’t want to be a part of it. MLM is really not that complicated and once you look at it in a simplified way it will make it much easier to make money doing it.

MLM, or network marketing, or direct sales or a home based business is just simply marketing a product or service. That’s IT! And as you marketing that product or service you bring other people on to your team who want to market that same product or service. As you build a bigger team you will make more money because one person selling 10 products a month is a little money but 50 people selling 10 products a month is big money.

As you build your team you make money from what you’re doing as well as making money off of what your team is doing.

Think of it this way. If you had a business where you sold t-shirts and you personally went door to door or store to store and sold and many t-shirts as you could in one day it would never be as much money as if you had 100 people out there doing the same thing and selling your t-shirts for you every day. That is all network marketing is, simple huh?

There is a misconception that in MLM you get paid JUST to bring people into the business not true. You bring people into the business but it is only when you get those people working and making money that you really start to make money. So when you help other people get rich you get rich in the process. Sound simple? It is!

MLM might be a lot of things but it’s not complicated.

Is Network Marketing A Scam? An Honest Review Of This Controversial Industry

If you have been wanting to work from home for a while you’ve probably taken a good look at network marketing. But what’s hard about trying to get information about this industry is that everyone seems to have very different opinions about network marketing, if it works and if it’s really even legal. So I set out to write an article about the truth about network marketing. There is no sales pitch here and I have no agenda other than letting the truth be out there. So here goes…

Network marketing is a simple and completely legal form of business. It pretty much works like this. You have a product that you market and while you’re doing that you’re also building a team of more people who want to market that product. By building a team of people who are marketing the products for you, they make money and you make money.

This all sounds simple enough so why do so many people believe that network marketing is a scam. I believe it’s for two reasons.

The first reason is that it costs money to get started in almost all network marketing companies. This causes a whole lot of confusion for people who are use to having jobs. A home based business like network marketing is just that… a business. It’s not a job and that’s where the confusion really lies I believe. Jobs don’t cost money to start, but businesses do. So if you are going to be involved in network marketing you need to be aware of the fact that you’re going to be starting your own business.

The second thing that is hard for some people to deal with is that network marketing is almost completely driven by commission. Commissions from the products you sell and commissions from bringing people into the business with you. So if you’re not working you’re not going to make any money. Unlike a job where you can show up, do very little and still get paid. (at least for a while before they fire you! )

So when you combine those two things, the fact that you have to pay to get started and the fact that your success is not guaranteed if you don’t work, people tend to get confused and call it a scam. But it’s really not at all.

In fact if you are looking for a way to make money from home and have an unlimited income there is no better way of doing that then network marketing.

Improve yourself; Improve your business

Most people who are in a home based business are looking and searching for a way to take their business to the next level. If you want to do that you need look no further than looking at yourself. When you improve yourself you’ll totally be able to improve your business almost overnight.

It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it. Improving yourself doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with you or that you aren’t good at what you’re doing. But people should constantly be improving themselves if they want to continue to grow in their business.

So what are some ways that you can improve upon yourself? Maybe you need a boost in confidence. Many people do and when you bring your confidence to the next level your business won’t be able to stop it’s self from growing. Some people need to learn how to listen better or take direction.

Still others need to stop procrastinating. Whatever it is that you want to work on there are probably a ton of websites that you can visit for free or books and ebooks that you can purchase that will help you get where you want to go.

Try not to focus on improving 5 different things at once just work on one at a time and when you feel that you’ve mastered one move on to the other. Also, don’t just read a book and then forget about it. Really try to learn and retain what you’ve read and use it in your everyday life as well as your business.

You can also read a ton of books on how to be successful in business although, honestly most people need to be less focus on their business skills and more focused on their life skills.

Once you start to see an improvement in yourself an improvement in your check is soon to follow. So take a good hard look at yourself and start working to make yourself a better person because when you do you’ll see a whole lot more success in your home based business.
