How to build a successful company online

Many people go about starting a network marketing company all wrong. The first thing they do is to tell all their friends and family, does the full court press on everyone they see. Which, is admirable, and eventually you will get around to talking to all these people if you are doing your business correctly. However, those are not the things you should be doing first.

Be excited! Yes, I promote the heck out of that. There is no feeling like the excitement of starting a new business and the hope that you are about to embark on a project that will not only lead you to meeting new people and making new relationships, but it is time to make more money!  BE excited and passionate about your new career.

Okay, what should you do first if not to run around and annoy the world on social media every five minutes, making your friends terrified of answering their phones?  Many people get super excited and blow up their Facebook™ and other social media, call and text all their family and friends. But…you need to learn your business, products, and compensation plan top to bottom BEFORE you talk to anyone. I know some of you are saying duh…however, most people start a home based business and know absolutely nothing about the business they are in other than what they heard from the person who recruited them line for line.  This is not going to work for the average person and eventually you will become unmotivated because you are not recruiting or making sales. People know when they are being snowed and people will be able to see when you are just repeating what you heard instead of speaking from authority. So first thing first: read, study, take notes, watch all the videos, and talk to not only the person who recruited you, but who brought them into the company.

  Knowledge is power, I know you have heard this before but it is true. When you know what you are talking about and you start talking with your prospects, with knowledge you will have a natural confidence in your posture and in your tone. People will feel this radiating off of you and will pay more attention to what you have to say.  Okay, so first is knowledge, know what the heck you are going to say and how to say it. Second, hop on You Tube™ and listen to people like Gary Vaynerchuk, this person in my opinion is one of the best educational and motivational speakers today. I also recommend Admiral McRaven’s speech that he does at the University of Texas graduation. Personally I listen to that speech every few months just to realign my head; it is an amazing speech that will change your life in ten minutes. Finally I know your company has produced webinars and You Tube™ videos, watch listen and learn. Then apply what the leaders of your companies are telling you! Chances are they are making excellent money and enjoying a healthy business and lifestyle. Do not try to reinvent the wheel. It works already! Learn and do, so when you are a rock star in the industry, you can teach others how you got it done, until then….follow the leader!

Fear of failure is a huge reason why so many people decide to hold off on joining a home based business. Nobody wants to feel like a failure or risk spending money on something that's not going to pay off for them. Coffee is the official drink of work isn’t it? It seems like no office would be complete without a big pot of coffee to keep their employees working hard. That might sound crazy but sometimes it’s not about being far, far away from home it’s just about getting outside for a while. Of course if you’re the type of person who has to have quiet in order to get work done this is not the best option for you. 4. On The Beach

This really is the dream scenario isn’t it? Sitting on the beach (or in a cabin in the mountains that’s what you’re into) relaxing and enjoying the day and getting a little work done while you’re at it. There are some businesses that cost thousands of dollars up front to join and some that cost as little as $10. However, you need to consider that starting a $10 business will more than likely only give you a little extra cash and probably not give you that healthy lifetime income many people are looking for.

Once you have decided on a budget you’ll want to think about the type of product you’ll be looking to market. Do you want a product like vitamins, make up or juice? Or a service like health benefits, an energy plan or a cell phone service? Whatever product you feel the most comfortable marketing you will be sure to find it because there is a network marketing company for just about everything under the sun.

Of course more important than finding the right product or start up cost is finding the right team to join. You want to be a part of a team that already has a strong system in place. Something that will allow you to just jump right in and start making money. You want strong leadership and someone who is passionate about helping others. If you can find all those things in one you’ve found the perfect business for you!

It’s important not to get pressured into anything. Just because a company is great for one person doesn’t mean it’s right for you so find the business that works best for you and your lifestyle and building your business will be a whole lot easier.

What’s so great about a job anyway? That’s the question that’s been on my mind recently. I understand that jobs are what allow us to uh… buy stuff and live but there are other ways of making money that don’t include nosey co-workers, a boss, a stinky break room or a commute. I’m talking of course about working from home and anyone who has experienced the type of freedom that comes with working from home knows just how great it is and why if you’ve ever really gotten a taste you’d never want to go back to your job!

For those of us who are blessed enough to be happily unemployed the world is all about living. It’s not about barely getting by or trying to make time for our families it’s about doing what we want to do when we want to do it.

Jobs can be good if you’re doing something you’re really passionate about but for most people in America you’re working just to get a paycheck, and a measly paycheck at that.

That’s why building a home based business is so amazing. It allows you to work for a little bit and play a whole lot. Not to mention the fact that when you’re your own boss you’re free to make as much money as you want! Keywords to Market Your Business

If you are marketing your home based business online few things are more important to you than keywords.

Keywords can help many, many people find your information online and that means more sales and income for you!

So what is a keyword?

Have you ever used Yahoo or Google? If not you’re one of the only people on the planet. Search engines like Google allow users to search for the specific things they want to find online. You just type a word or a phrase into the box and boom! Page after page of results!

So a keyword is the word or phrase that people will use to find your website on the internet.

It just amazes me how many home based business owners put up good looking, awesome websites but don’t promote it at all. How do they ever expect people to find it that way?

By using keywords correctly the people who are searching on the internet (and there are a lot of them!) for a home based business will be able to yours faster.

Finding the keyword or keywords that you want to target can be a little more challenging. Many people assume that they should just use the phrase “home based business” but that’s not really the best way to go.

The problem with a really broad keyword like “home based business” is that everyone under the sun is using it so your competition is going to be huge. The most effective way to use a keyword is to use a smaller niche market like “Texas home based business opportunity” or “Chicago work from home business for moms” while there will be less people searching for those particular terms the ones who are searching for them will be sure to find your websites, you won’t be as lost in the crowd so to speak.

Once you figure out which keywords you want to target just make sure you use that particular phrase as much as possible. Use it in articles, on your website, on your business blog, as titles for your videos, everywhere you can imagine.

Don’t use them to the point where you’re just stuffing the phrase in where it doesn’t belong but use it enough so that the search engines will pick it up and put your link on their first few pages!
